Spend 5 physical days with us immersing yourself in our movement culture in the epic, contrasting, wild yet life-giving island of Kona, Hawaii. Through the lens of movement, we'll experience some of the most spectacular scenes the world has to offer - interacting with nature through our physicality.

This will be a movement-camp like no other. With multiple daily movement sessions, island-local food, and self-development workshops, you'll build and cultivate strength and resilience - in body and mind.

You'll leave the island feeling new. Fitter in body, certainly, but you'll also leave with the tools to take your physical practice to a new and heightened level.

Move Kona is 5 days deep-diving into our movement culture and working through our movement curriculum.

how we do it

You'll get your body going with a daily morning practice, and then we'll immerse ourselves into a full AM session of movement. A break and some replenishment over the early afternoon will then see us reconvene for the afternoon recovery session - everything from massage, swim/float, blended breathing, mobilisation and workshops.

The days will finish up with a shared meal and reflecting by the ocean sunset.

  • Full take-home movement curriculum resources and resource packet including all frameworks and notes you need for Move Kona

Home base will be the Kona Isle Condominiums, on Ali'i drive. We're recommending everyone stay there so we're all in the same place - we'll be starting some sessions from there and our home-based dinners and sunsets will be there.

You can book/check out accommodation at Kona Isle via VRBO here.

You'll see that condos there start from $75 USD/night, and most are self-contained. There are variations in numbers of bedrooms (if you want to share with someone), ocean front, ground floor, upstairs etc to suit everyone!

If Kona Isle doesn’t float your boat, or if you can’t find accommodation to suit, get in touch with us.

The main part of Move Kona is 5 days, with the 8th March just being a sunset welcome, really (5pm), and the bulk of the experience beginning 9th March.

[To allow for fatigue we would probably recommend coming in on the 8th at the very latest though...]

Jetstar have great deals to on Syd-Honolulu… seriously good deals. In all the years we've been flying to Kona, we've flown various carriers, and Jetstar has actually (maybe surprisingly) been the best!

From Honolulu, you just need an inter-island flight to Kailua Kona (usually Hawaiian Airlines.)

Car hire

We will provide some travel assistance in the form of a minivan to and from some movement experiences, and airport pick up and drop off.  While not absolutely essential, we would recommend hiring a car if you're interested in exploring in your downtime, or before or after Move Kona. [We generally go through AVIS (who are also attached to Qantas Frequent Flyers.)]

The dates:

8th -14th March, 2018.

The Investment:

Upfront: $1395 + GST; OR

$500 non-refundable deposit + balance due 8th Feb, 2018

(+ $220 p/p for catering - optional)

[ Want to bring a friend? We're offering a 15% discount for double bookings. Email us to arrange.]
